Social Spark Queuing System
I’ve been with SocialSpark for a while, and so far there is only one thing that I really wish that they would change.
Right now, the opportunity system is a bit different than that at their predecessor, PayPerPost. Rather than the terms “open” or “available” meaning that the opportunity is available at that moment, those terms apparently mean that you are able to apply to take the opp. In other words, you sign up for an opp in hopes that the advertiser will open up another slot, giving you the chance to write a post for them.
Don’t get me wrong, I like being able to sign up for posts that have already been filled - but I really think that they should more clearly distinguish between which assignments are available for the immediate taking and which assignments are available to apply for.
Other than that, I’m really liking SocialSpark so far. For those of you who have tried it, what do you think?

I’ve signed up, and am currently awaiting verification, but so far it looks nice, friendly users, and it looks like there’ the chance at some decent money. Seems it’s taking them some time to approve or deny me though.

It could take up to a week - if you still haven’t been approved by then I’d go ahead and send a ticket in to support.

I signed up but I think there’s just too much happening! In order to get decent traffic a lot of work must be done! I prefer more simple and efficient promotion strategies!
It’s almost like a my space copy! With a little social networking added to it!

I’m signed up with one blog approved, but I haven’t taken an opp yet because I haven’t figured out that queuing system. If I see two green lights, it’s open and available to me, but I still have to wait to be approved before I can do the opp?
I like the old PPP better right now, but it could be just a case of the old dog and new tricks ya know?

bbrian017 - I agree. The main page just seems too busy, and is a bit confusing.
JMom - I wish that they would take the opp system of the old PPP and the RealRank requirement and nofollow requirement of SocialSpark and mash them together; it seems like that would be a perfect combo! Who knows though, we may get used to SS after they add more features and we’ve used it for a while. We’ll just have to wait and see
