Rant Against Digital Point Forums
Don’t get me wrong - the Digital Point Forums (which can be found here) are a great way to make money - I’ve made well over $1000 doing various freelance work there. However, I recently got banned for a week. To make it even more frustrating, I was banned for something that I posted over a month ago!! Apparently, I broke the rules by “bumping” my thread when I asked “Is anyone else interested?”. I understand that they don’t like it when people keep their thread at the top all of the time, but are you just supposed to let your thread die after it gets off the first page? People never usually look too far back. I guess what I’ll have to do from now on is to just make a new thread every few days once they let me back in (on September 5th) but it just seems a bit redundant to me. Oh well, I guess everything can’t be perfect!

Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to keep that in mind.

Yeah, DP is great for making a few extra bucks, but their rules are almost…stupid.
You are right about people not digging through the tens of dozens of pages, instead choosing to stick to the first page or two.
Maybe I should start my own forum…hmm…
