Zero and Up

Why "Zero and Up"?
Zero and Up applies to many aspects of blogging: your visitors, subscribers, earnings, etc. No matter where you are with your blog, there's always room for improvement. Hopefully, Zero and Up will be a resource to help you take your websites upward, even if it's all the way from zero!

Question and Answer Session!

I’d like to hold a question and answer “session”, for those of you who are interested.

Ask me any question you like - it can be related to blogging and earning money online, or it could be totally unrelated. For example, both “What is your favorite ad network?” and “What color is your pillowcase?” would be acceptable questions. This is your chance to find out more about the author of Zero and Up! I can’t promise that I’ll answer all questions with as direct of an answer as you’d like me to, but it’s worth a shot to ask whatever you feel like asking.

I’m not sure how often I’ll do this, so take advantage of this possibly rare occurrence!

So, why am I having a question and answer session like this? I think that forming a personal relationship with your readers is beneficial to both the blogger and the reader. By allowing you all to ask me whatever you’d like, hopefully we can get to know each other just a little bit better than before. I’d encourage you to try this out on your own blogs as well and see how it works for you. :)

This is a great idea, Alan. A lot of times I don’t talk about certain things because I don’t think people are interested. This is a great way of interacting with your readers and also get to know each other.

    Here’s my question for you:

How do you find inspiration on what to write about? and when you do find a subject to write about, how much research do you do or do you just go from the top of your head (i.e. opinion)?
